Medical eVisa

Medical eVisa

India is a leading destination for specialised medical care, including cardiac treatment, oncology, orthopaedic surgery, and neurological therapies. The Medical e-Visa is a short-term electronic travel authorisation issued by the Government of India for patients seeking treatment at recognised medical institutions in India.

This visa category is issued only to the patient. Family members or caregivers travelling with the patient must apply separately for a Medical Attendant e-Visa.

The Medical e-Visa allows up to three entries within the 60-day validity period. This is intended to support follow-up consultations or staged medical procedures without requiring a new visa application.
